Major League Gaming (MLG) has announced that fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Cloud9 have been invited to attend the X Games Aspen event, in January. From January 23-25, MLG, together with ESPN Games X, will host a CS:GO tournament in Aspen, Colorado, with eight teams in attendance, coming from Europe and North America. This will be MLG's first attempt at hosting a major CS:GO event, with fans being able to follow the action in person or via MLG.tv.
It has now been announced that Swedish duo Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic, and North American giants Cloud9 have all received invitations to attend the event. Mikail "Maikelele" Bill is included in NiP's roster for the event, which could mean he will stay in the team after DreamHack Winter. Meanwhile, MLG stated that details about the online qualifiers for the event will be released in the coming weeks. The participants' list for MLG X Gams Aspen currently looks as follows:
